3D Wood Engraving



















To realize 3D engraving,the CNC router need to be at least 4 axis. X,Y,Z axis and rotary.
With laser 3D scanner, it change the data of craft to be G code, then output to the machine for engraving the exact one. Besides, with a picture of craft, the laser scanner does not work. We need engineer to make it with software. For example, Type3,Ucancam 3D, JDPaint, ArtCAMPro.
One friend from New Zealand, he makes statue and monument. First, he use rubber to cover the statue. Second, take out the statue,and fill the rubber with gypsum. Now he wants to find a 5 axis CNC router, as he was asked to make a statue with a picture.

    That's awesome and wonderful. I smell magic in the air. The computer numeric control will one day take place of human control. We'll have more and more labors but less cost then.
